Our Mission
The Mission of the Eric Marsh Foundation
The Eric Marsh Foundation was created to support wildland firefighters and their families in the event of line-of-duty-death (LODD) and line-of-duty-trauma all over the United States. We are a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization located in Prescott, Arizona
Funding to assist acute crisis
- Pay for upfront needs and logistics issues (Lodging expenses, Transportation services, food, child care)
- Support for immediate family to be near hospitalized firefighters.
- Transport for wildland crew to fallen crew member funerals
- Emotional support from EMF board and trained mental health professionals.
PTSD/Mental Health Support for Firefighters and their families
- Individual or In group therapeutic services
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Brain Integration
- Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
- Grief Support Services
- One on One Mentoring Services
Funding Scholarships
We provide Scholarships to Incident Management Academies nationwide for beginning level students to take SI30-190. The course Eric taught incoming wildland firefighters for many years. Its the only class he ever wanted to teach.
